Plans, free trial and billing
What each of the four Parcello plans adds, how the 60-day free trial works and how Shopify bills you.

Parcello has four plans. Each plan includes everything in the plans below it, so a feature on Advanced is also on Operations and Freight. Shopify bills the plan on your Shopify invoice, after a 60-day free trial.

Pages that belong to a higher plan don’t appear in the Parcello menu until your plan includes them. The Automation page shows on every plan: its settings for fees and services and for fulfilling items when their labels are bought work on every plan, and its Operations features show a plan note. Estes tracking works on every plan once Estes is connected. FedEx Freight, tracking included, needs the Freight plan.
Live rates at checkout also depend on your Shopify plan. Shopify only lets apps show rates at checkout on plans that support carrier-calculated shipping. The Checkout Rates page says so under the Enable button: “Requires an Advanced/Plus plan (or carrier-calculated shipping add-on).”
Free trial and billing
- Every plan starts with a 60-day free trial. Shopify starts billing when the trial ends.
- Shopify bills your Parcello plan. The charge appears on your Shopify invoice, not on a separate bill from Parcello.
- Postage is billed by your carriers or by Shippo, on your own accounts. Parcello doesn’t charge for labels.
- If your store has no active Parcello plan, opening Parcello takes you to Shopify’s plan page to choose one.
When a feature is on a higher plan
Some pages show a short note where a higher-plan feature would be, for example “Available on the Operations plan · See plans” on the Automation page, or “Buying labels for the whole batch, the pick list and saved batches are on the Operations plan.” on the Batches page. The Pickups card on the Orders page says how many labeled packages are waiting when pickups aren’t on your plan.
Click See plans to open Shopify’s plan page for Parcello.
Change your plan
- Click See plans on any of those notes. Shopify’s plan page for Parcello opens.
- Pick the plan you want and approve it.
- Shopify sends you back to Parcello. The new plan’s pages appear in the menu.

Moving to a lower plan
Features that aren’t on your new plan stop working. If you move below Advanced, Parcello switches off live rates at checkout, and your customers see your other Shopify shipping rates. Your checkout settings are kept: after you move back up, turn rates on again with Enable on the Checkout Rates page.
Cancelling
Uninstalling Parcello ends your subscription. Your data is kept for 48 hours in case you reinstall, then deleted. See Permissions, your data and uninstalling.
