Live rates at checkout, priced on the boxes you ship

A cart with a three-box product is rated as three boxes. A cart that ships from two warehouses is rated from both. The same packing fills the order after checkout, so the quote and the label start from the same boxes.

For each carrier, tick the services to show, rank them and rename them. Show every service you ticked, in your order, or only the first one that quotes. UPS and FedEx rates can use your negotiated prices or list prices.

Add a percentage and a flat amount per shipment, set separately for domestic, international and freight shipments. Add a flat amount per box for boxes that cost more to pack.

Set an order cutoff time, your processing days and a shipping calendar with holidays. Give products their own lead time. Parcello adds the carrier's transit time and shows a delivery date.

If a product can't promise a date, like custom work that waits for approval, show your own message instead.

Carriers charge more to deliver to a home. Parcello can check whether a checkout address is a home or a business, or you can quote every address as a home, or every address as a business.

Require a signature on every shipment and the carrier's signature fee is in the rate. Shoppers see "Signature required" on each option, and the order's shipments start with Signature required ticked.

When a cart ships from more than one place, Parcello combines the shipments into speed tiers you name, such as Standard and Express. Each tier is priced as the sum of its shipments and dated by the slowest one.

Offer free shipping above an order subtotal, with separate amounts for domestic and international orders, and leave out products that should never ship free. On the Freight plan, oversize and freight products get LTL quotes from your Estes account.

Optionally, Parcello writes the checkout choice onto the Shopify order: the service, the price, the promised date and the boxes in each shipment.

The Shipping Costs page compares what customers paid for shipping with what each label cost, by carrier and by month. Upload your UPS and FedEx invoices to add what the carrier billed, and Parcello lists labels billed after you voided them.

Quick Quote prices a shipment without an order: pick the boxes or products, the addresses and a carrier.

On the Operations plan, shipping rules can hide an option, change its price or set a fixed price for carts that match your conditions, such as a destination, a product tag or a customer tag.

Live rates at checkout are part of the Advanced plan and the plans above it. Your Shopify plan must also allow third-party calculated shipping rates. Shopify includes this on its Advanced and Plus plans and offers it on some other plans with annual billing or as an add-on, so check your plan in Shopify first.

After you turn rates on in Parcello, add Parcello Live Rates to the shipping zones where you want it in Shopify's shipping settings.
